John Robert Pilbin

John Robert Pilbin known to his friends and family as 'Bob' was my Grandfather, i was 5 or 6 when he died however i do still remember him, as a kind and caring man who loved all of his family and his 6 grandchildren now 7 of us, one he never got to know.

John (Bob) was born in Durham, Newcastle in 1906 but lived most of his adult life in South Shields, Co. Durham where he and my Grandmother raised their 3 daughters along with another daughter from his first marriage.

His final resting place is a Cemetery in Grange-Over-Sands.
